Adjust the height of an embedded form on a Page
Updated today
Embedded forms on Youform Pages keep a steady height by default instead of resizing for each question. You can switch between the two behaviors in Page settings. For the basics of building and publishing a page, start with Youform Pages: build a landing page for your form with AI.
Choose the height behavior
The steady height is the default, so you only need to touch this setting when you want the form to resize for each question.
Open Pages in the top navigation, next to Forms, and open your page.
In the editor, open Settings.
Find the embedded form height option.
Choose whether the form keeps a steady height or resizes as the visitor moves through each question.
Save the setting, then preview the page to check the result.
What each behavior does
With the default steady height, the form keeps the same height while the visitor moves through the questions. With per-question resizing turned on, the form adjusts its height for each question.
Popup forms are not affected
The height setting applies only to forms embedded on a Youform Page. Popup forms keep their existing sizing behavior.
It also does not change the height controls for a form you embed in your own website. Those are set in the embed code itself; see Embedding a Youform on Your Website.
