Transfer account ownership

Transferring your Youform account

You can transfer your account — forms, submissions, billing, team, and integrations — to a teammate by changing your email to theirs. The new owner verifies from their inbox and the account becomes theirs.

Steps:

    Log into your Youform account, go to Account Settings → Email, and enter the new owner's email.
    They click the verification link sent to their inbox.
    They set a new password as well during the verification.

If they already have a Youform account:
In that case you won't be able to add the same email as this will show error "account already exist". So ask them to free up their email first.
Either they have to delete their account or change their email to something else.
Easiest way: Ask them to login to Youform, go to Account Settings → Email, and change it to a plus-alias like if their email is  john@example.com  change it to  john+old@example.com . No account deletion or separate email needed.

Good to know

  • Your subscription transfers automatically — no need to cancel.
  • You lose access the moment they verify, so download anything personal first.
