What is Submission Refill link in Youform?

If you want your users to refill the form but don't want them to fill all the details from scratch again then you can generate and send them a refill link.
This link can be generated in 2 ways:
    From the submission modal that opens when you click on a submission from your submissions page. Go to your form → click on Results from the top tabs → click on the submission for which you want to get the submission link → click on the link icon as shown below and "Generate" the link.
    From form settings: You can go to your form, then click on the settings button. There you will see the "Refill link" option. Toggle this to enable/disable the refill link for all your submissions. Remember this will enable/disable the refill link for all past and future submissions.


Which method to choose for refill link?

The recommended way is to to enable the refill link for each submission that you want to recollect the data. But if you are doing some automations for example using N8N, Make, or Zapier, then you can enable the link from your form settings page for all the submissions so that you can directly generate the refill link and trigger emails for partial submissions. You can also  use API  to enable/disable refill link for each submissions


Remember, once you are done collecting data, you can disable the link as well.
