Setting Up Phone Verification
Go to Organization Settings > SMS Providers
Click Add SMS Provider and select Twilio
Enter your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and a From Number (or Messaging Service SID)
Test the connection to make sure it's working
Open your form in the Builder and add a Phone block
Enable Require verification on the phone block
Respondents will now need to verify their phone number with a one-time code before submitting
Setting Up Email Verification
Open your form in the Builder and add an Email block
Enable Require verification on the email block
Respondents will receive a one-time code to their email address before they can submit
Optionally, configure a Custom SMTP sender in Organization Settings to send verification emails from your own domain
Managing Team Seats
Your plan includes 5 seats. The organization owner always occupies one seat.
To invite team members, go to Organization Settings > Members and send an invite.
If you need more than 5 seats, extra seats are automatically billed at $10/month each through your Stripe subscription.
When you remove a team member, your extra seat billing is automatically adjusted.
Upgrading to Business
Go to Organization Settings > Billing
Click Upgrade to Business
Choose monthly or yearly billing
Complete checkout via Stripe
If you're already on the Pro plan, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Downgrading from Business
If you downgrade from Business to Pro:
Your team must have 3 or fewer members (the Pro seat limit) before the downgrade can proceed
Business-only features (phone verification, email verification, activity log) will become unavailable
Forms with phone or email verification enabled will gracefully fall back to standard input fields — no data is lost

What happens to my verified phone/email data if I downgrade?
All previously collected and verified data remains in your submissions. The verification requirement is simply removed from future submissions.
Do I need my own Twilio account for phone verification?
Yes. YouForm uses your Twilio credentials to send SMS verification codes. This gives you full control over your SMS costs and sender identity.
Can I use a custom SMTP server for email verification?
Yes. Configure your SMTP settings in Organization Settings to send verification emails from your own domain.
Is there a limit on how many extra seats I can add?
No. You can add as many extra team members as you need at $10/month per additional seat beyond the included 5.
What's included in the activity log?
The activity log tracks form creation/updates, team member invites and removals, integration changes, workspace changes, billing events, and settings updates.
