How to use calculation feature in Youform?

Creating a Quiz Using Youform's Logic Builder

This document provides a step-by-step process to create a simple quiz using Youform's Logic Builder. The quiz comprises three questions, and scores are awarded based on the correctness of each answer. Each correct answer yields 10 points. Upon completion, the total score will be displayed on the thank you page.

Step 1

To create a simple quiz using the calculation feature in Youform's Logic Builder, we will start by designing a quiz with three questions. Each correct answer will be rewarded with a score of 10 points.

Step 2

After assigning points for each correct answer, the total score will be displayed on the thank you page at the end of the quiz.

Step 3

Next, navigate to the first question, click on the logic button, and begin adding the appropriate logic. If the correct answer is selected, such as "Washington DC" for the question "What is the capital of the United States?", add a value of 10 to the score and save the changes.

Step 4

Repeat this process for the remaining questions.

Step 5

Now that all questions are configured, publish the quiz and proceed to test it. Based on your answers you will see the score on "Thank You" page.

In this way you can use the calculation feature in Youform. Few things to note here:
I have used only "Add+" option, you can select "Subtract", "Multiply" etc depending on your use case.
We provide 2 default variables @score and @price but you can add more variables if required by going to your Form → Settings → Hidden fields & variables.
